Team Sorting

It is a discipline on the number of separated calves and achieved time in one lap. The time limit is 2.5 minutes. The competitive team consists of three riders. For this discipline must be corral divided into two halves by a solid fence and the gate width is 1 / 3 of the width of the arena. One half serves as a „cattle side“, in which concentrate animals before start of each team. On the cattle side are 12 calves numbered from 1 to 10 and two with 0. The referee determines the number of the calf to the team riders and they have task to gradually separate calves from the herd and to corral them to non-cattle side. They start with the given number to other numbers in ascending order, as they go behind. When the other number runs across than in the order, than the riders must corral it back and re-sort, when in place, otherwise they can not continue. On the cattle side must stay calves with marks 0. If this marked calf runs across, than the team is disqualified. After the time limit, all riders must be on non-cattle side along with sorted calves. Timing can be stopped before the time limit by lifting hand up. The winner is the team with more assorted calves. In case of equal number of calves decides achieved time. Time is measured from when the first rider crosses the starting line and ends with the time limit expires or the end of the discipline showed by riders lifted hand. The use of reins, whip and lasso and other similar devices for pushing selcted cattle is prohibited.
