Barrel race

Is a time discipline. It's organized on two rounds, times are added together. When the rider is disqualified, than is written the time value of 5 minutes for that round. The route must be clearly defined. Barrels must be three and must be placed so that the farthest from the entrance to corral is a peak to isosceles triangle with the other two. The base of an isosceles triangle is 21 m long and parallel to the starting line. Distance from the starting line to a triangle base is 12 to 15 m. Height of an isosceles triangle is 24.9 m, arms length is 27 m. Minimal distance from barrel to the fence is 4 meters. The rider must go around all the barrels in the corral and after each must always cross his track. Start and finish line must be clearly indicated. Flying start is permitted. Timing begins and ends when the horse crosses the starting and finish line. After the start the rider circles the barrels either right or left from the nearest to distant. After passing the last one he returns straight to the finish line. For every overturned barrel is the rider penalized by 5 seconds to achieved time. The prod is prohibited in front of horse girth. Direction failure is punishable by disqualification. In case of equal times is organised one or more heats.
